Its two principals, Grace and Jim Van Orden, personally direct VOCOMM’s client activities. The couple, married for more than 35 years, has more than 65 years of combined experience in public relations. One of their adult daughters, Tori, is also involved in the family business. Another daughter, Jenne, and three grandchildren - Cassie, Lindsey and Jake - complete the family.

Grace Van Orden, founder of Van Orden Communications, Inc., began her communications career in 1973 as a researcher, writer and management trainer at DPR Associates, Inc., a public relations agency in the Philadelphia area. Jim Van Orden, principal, VOCOMMJim Van Orden, who has more than 36 years experience in journalism, marketing communications and public relations, specializes in public relations planning, writing and media relations. As one of the founding principals of Van Orden Communications, Inc. he has represented a variety of companies in the energy, software, travel, telephone equipment, computer, manufacturing and communications industries. Tori Van Orden Martínez, vice president, VOCOMMTori Van Orden Martínez, Jim and Grace's youngest daughter, has practiced and refined her tactical and practical skills in a wide range of public relations and marketing positions. In addition to communications experience in the healthcare and cosmetic industries, Tori worked for several years in the high-tech sector, where she held senior positions in both the agency and corporate environments.
